Description

Turbidity refers to the haziness of a fluid caused by the increased number of very tiny particles which, individually, is invisible to us. Moreover, turbidity measurement is important in testing the quality of water. The turbidity sensor uses optical principle, which determines the turbidity through combining the transmission and substance scattering rate of liquid solution.

Turbidity is a measurement of the amount of suspended material in the water. It describes the clarity of water. Suspended materials in water, such as clay, silt, and algae, reduce water clarity and cause turbidity.

Equipped with a waterproof probe, this module is mainly used for the turbidity testing of water and liquid.

Features / Specifications

This turbidity sensor adopts optical principle to detect the turbidity of liquid solution.
This module converts the current signal of the sensor to module output voltage. The lower the output voltage is, the high the turbidity value.
The module adopt high quality electronic components, ensuring the accuracy of turbidity measurement.
Suitable for turbidity measurement and control of water, industrial controls and environmental wastewater collection.
