This NEMA17 stepper motor is a 200-step steper motor that’s best use for positioning applications. Using widely used in the 3D printing community for many 3D printer models.

In order to use this stepper motor to your Arduino, Raspberry Pi or any microcontroller project, you need a stepper motor driver board to drive power, direction and increase angle control of this motor from 200 steps up to or more than 1000 steps. This NEMA17 stepper motor will work perfectly with the Stepper Motor Driver Module (A4988) or the DRV8825 Stepper Motor Driver
