Description
PN532 Controller Module Board is a highly integrated transmission module for NFC and is the most popular NFC module.
Near Field Communication (NFC) is popular in recent years. Almost all the high-end phones in the market support NFC. NFC is a set of standards for smartphones and similar devices to establish radio communication each other by touching them together or bringing them into close proximity, usually no more than a few centimeters. It is the most popular NFC chip and an extension to contact-free Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). So anything you can do with RFID, you can also do with NFC.
The PN532 is very flexible and can support multiple operating modes and is capable of host communication via SPI, I2C and HSU. It can read and write to tags and cards, communicate with phones, transferring data and you can always just use this for RFID-tag projects.
