Description
An IR detector/ IR photodiode which acts as a Receiver which send from the infrared LED. This is the one who receive and decode signals to uniquely identify that it receives. Can be directly connect to a microcontroller, Arduino or Raspberry Pi with only a few current limiting resistors and require no complex circuit for getting it working. IR LED/sensor consists of two parts, the emitter circuit and the receiver circuit. This is collectively known as a photo-coupler or an optocoupler.
