Description
Waterproof Ultrasonic Sensor Module JSN-SR04T has two channels, the trigger and echo channel. It works by the trigger channel, sending sound waves and the echo channels waiting for the sound wave to bounce back. Distance is measured based on the time the sound wave has bounced back.
This sensor can sense up to 4.5m(450mm). It works with a 5V power supply, with a working current of 30mA, and an idle current of 5mA. It also has an acoustic emission frequency of 40KHz.
This sensor is outdoors capable. The sensor is waterproof but not the primary circuit.
This sensor could be for projects that measure distance like water level monitoring or even an obstacle avoidance project.
Its primary advantage is its ability to pinpoint the sensing component in any control circuit from a distance. It performs similarly to other inexpensive ultrasonic transducers, but it is waterproof, compatible with hard environments, and delivers greater performance. And the Arduino interface is simple to use.
