SIM800L GSM GPRS Module Board (with antenna)

SKU: WL-018 Category:

A GSM/GPRS Module is an IC or chip that connects to the GSM Network using a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) and Radio Waves. The common radio frequencies in which a typical GSM Module operates are 850MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz and 1900MHz

At the heart of the module is a SIM800L GSM cellular chip from SimCom. The operating voltage of the chip is from 3.4V to 4.4V, which makes it an ideal candidate for direct LiPo battery supply. This makes it a good choice for embedding into projects without a lot of space.
