The Robot Car Line Follower Kit is the complete package for your line follower robot projects. Follow the included Assembly Manual with our example Code to have a working project in minutes. The Robot car works by following a Black line within a white surface. The main controller of the car is the Arduino UNO R3 board (included in the kit) which controls the direction of the 2 DC motors that are connected to our Motor Driver board. The Line Follower Sensor 4channel board gives a HIGH 5V (black line) or LOW 0V (white line) input signal to our Arduino board and follows the code sequence to make our robot car move and follow the black line.
You may also use this kit for other projects like adding an Ultrasonic Range sensor or Infrared Distance Sensor to create your Obstacle or Wall Detection project. Get a Bluetooth Module and control your robot car from your Android phone by following our included tutorial and free to download software Android Apps provided by the community developers.
This Robot Car can be supplied from 5 volts to 12 Volts to run the DC motors at full speed. Speeds vary from 20 to 250 rpm and have a torque of 6 to 8 Kg.
The kit comes un-assembled but we provide an easy to follow Assembly Manual which only takes a few minutes to assemble. A link and example codes for Line Follower, Free Running Car, Obstacle or Wall Detection car are also provided for reference.
Note: The Kit includes the Arduino UNO R3 board but does not include 4 AA batteries, but batteries are really easy to find!
